She is committed to delivering outstanding results and identifying new and talented filmmakers, she brings strong skills in leadership, strategy, and execution to the company. Prior starting Blue Bee Productions in 2022, Maria had a successful career in the medical device industry. In 2018, she founded AKRN Scientific Consulting, a European medical device CRO, and served as CEO until under her leadership the company was acquired by a global medical research organization in 2022. Maria's experience as entrepreneur across the spectrum of early-stage start-ups to large multi-national organizations has provided her with valuable insights and expertise in running successful businesses.
Octavio brings a wealth of experience and a proven rack record of success in the audiovisual industry to the company. With over 20 years of experience as a film director and audiovisual producer, he has successfully directed and produced a variety of projects. Octavio has a deep understanding of the film and television industry and its challenges, and is an expert in overseeing the financial and business aspects of projects. He is well known for his strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including filmmakers, financiers, and marketing teams. He is also a dynamic and skilled leader and manager, able to lead and inspire teams of professionals to bring a wide range of creative projects to fruition. He is also a serial entrepreneur and founder of several companies in the audiovisual, healthcare, and food sectors.
Igor Alonso serves as our dedicated legal advisor, specializing in financing structures and fiscal solutions tailored for the film production sector. Boasting over two decades of expertise as a tax professional and attorney, Igor excels in tax optimization, guiding clients to recover their investments and adeptly maneuver through intricate tax landscapes.
